Our recycling process:
The laptop to be recycled arrives at our facility. It is unpacked and placed into a line in the order it was received.
Next, a technician assesses the machine. The laptop gets stripped for parts down to the component level. The parts are separated. Plastics go to our plastics recycler, metal goes to our metals recycler. Motherboards and circuitboards go to a plant where they are separated for their precious metals. This plant is loal to us here in NC and is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 registered. Screens also go there. If any of the power cords or parts are new enough they are reused. We send all batteries to RBRC where they're properly recycled.
